WHAT'S INCLUDED:
1. Transportation:
- All transfers from airports, hotels, and stations in private service.

Transport and professional bilingual guide (English - Spanish), in private service for the excursions listed in the program.

Van (19 people capacity) at disposal in Mayupata Villas (to be used to transfer children to and from schools, and for any possible needs during the entire stay).
2. Family Group activities:

April 7: Welcome event, deluxe Picnic lunch in Pisac.

April 13: Integration Outdoor day by Piuray Lake with local families with Andean Ceremony. No meals included.

April 15: Quechua community day including lunch at the community. Lunch included.

April 17: Full Day Machu Picchu excursion by Expedition train. Lunch included at Tinkuy restaurant. Expedition Train (Peru Rail) Ollantaytambo - Aguas Calientes - Ollantaytambo.

April 19: Closure activity with local families and teachers. No meals included.

Entrance fees for all the sites are included in the excursions.

Childcare, provided by one of the hosts, available every afternoon from Monday to Friday after school hours from 2:30pm to 5.30pm.
3. Accommodations:

14 nights in Mayupata Villas in Calca. Includes housekeeping/cleaning person one day, per villa, per week (change of bed sheets and bed liners are included).

Additional cleaning/cooking/housekeeping can be arranged on site at an additional cost. Blankets and other house equipment are not included in laundry service.
4. Parent Activities:

1 Happy-hour events at Pisonay (for adults).

1 lecture included at the Happy hour (for adults).

Childcare for the kids/teens from 5:00pm to 8:00pm during Happy Hour.
5. Infants (0-2 years old):
-
Travelling on the lap of their parents, no meals or seats are covered during this trip.

No special meals.

School & workshops are not included.
6. Children (3-6 years old):
-
Activities with their parents as per program, including their own seat in vehicles, trains, and Machu Picchu buses; entry tickets to archaeological sites; meals and activities during the scheduled excursions, childcare during afternoons from Monday to Friday (from 2:30pm to 5.30pm).

Optional service: 4-School days at Sumaq Kawsay school with lunch, it’s possible at additional cost of US$250 per child. To be requested at the time of booking.

WHAT'S NOT INCLUDED:
- International or domestic flights.
- Car rentals.
- Laundry service (to be arranged with Local Host & Groundskeeper on-site at Mayupata Villas)
- Any excursions/workshops/cultural activities for parents, teens, kids not listed in the itinerary above. (A list of options will be provided by Tanit Trails and to be booked & paid on site by parents)
- Meals not specified in the itinerary above.
- Personal expenses (phone calls, soft and alcoholic drinks, etc)
- Travel insurance.
- Any hotel stays not listed in the itinerary above.
- WWB strongly encourages participants to consider contributing a financial gratuity (“tip”), as they see fit, to the hosts, tour guides, transportation drivers, program/workshop educators & leaders, and kids’ teachers who enhance their family’s month-long learning adventure in the Sacred Valley of Peru.
- NOTE: If dining in a restaurant as a large group, and the cost of the meal is included in the program, then any gratuity for restaurant servers will be included as well.
CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS:
- Cancellations made 90 days or more prior to the retreat start date shall receive a full refund.
- Cancellations 89 to 61 days prior to the retreat start date shall incur a fee equal to 50% of the program price.
- Cancellations 60 to 45 days prior to the retreat start date shall incur a fee equal to 75% of the program price.
- Cancellations 44 to 0 days prior to the departure shall incur a fee equal to 100% of the program price.
- In the event of a cancellation between 45 and 119 days prior to departure, the refund will be by credit, usable on a future Working Without Borders retreat which commences within 2 years of the original retreat start date.
PAYMENTS:
- Once your application has been approved, you pay your $1500 deposit, which guarantees your spot.
- Your Balance Due must be paid by January 20, 2024.
SELLER OF TRAVEL DISCLOSURES:
- Working Without Borders is a Registered California Seller of Travel (CST 2148820-50). Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California.
- Upon cancellation of transportation or travel services, all sums paid for services not provided to the passenger, will be promptly paid to the passenger, when the passenger is not at fault and had not canceled in violation of any terms previously clearly and conspicuously disclosed to and agreed to by the passenger, and unless the passenger otherwise advises the seller of travel in writing, upon cancellation.
- California law requires certain sellers of travel to have a trust account or bond. This business has a bond issued by Westfield National Insurance Company in the amount of $25,000.
- Transactions are covered by the California Travel Consumer Restitution Fund (TCRF) if the passenger is located in California at the time of payment. For passengers purchasing from outside of California, transactions are not covered by the TCRF.
- Eligible passengers may file a claim with the TCRF if the passenger is owed a refund of more than $50 for transportation or travel services which the seller of travel failed to forward to a proper provider or such money was not refunded when required. The maximum amount which may be paid by the TCRF to any one passenger is the total amount paid on behalf of the passenger to the seller of travel, not to exceed $15,000.
- A claim must be submitted to the TCRF within 12 months after the scheduled completion date of the travel. A claim must include sufficient documentation to prove your claim and a $35 processing fee. Claimants must agree to waive their right to other civil remedies against a registered participating seller of travel for matters arising out of a sale for which you file a TCRF claim.
